Personal Support Worker position (PSW)

Locations -Community care & facility care settings across Ontario.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide personal care and support in all aspects of personal hygiene, medication, mobility and communication
  2. Assist in meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping
  3. Provide social & meaningful companionship, observation, safety and conservation
  4. Report changes in patient’s behaviour to designated manager or client

Minimum Requirements

  1. Holder of Certificate for PSW, and, if applicable, certified by the National Association of Career College (NACC) or National Association of Certified Personal Support Worker
  2. Has minimum 1 year clinical experience related to job descriptions
  3. Has Police record clearance
  4. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
  5. Has medical clearance
  6. Has taken CPR training for Health Care Provider (HCP)

Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)

o Community, Hospitals and other Healthcare Facilities across ON, including Dental and Medical clinics

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible, but not limited to, provide direct nursing care & administer treatments to patients
  2. Collaborate with allied health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients & families

Minimum Requirements

  1. Holder of current Certificate of Competence for Registered Practical Nurse from the CNO
  2. Recipient of CPR certificate for Health Care Provider (HCP)
  3. Has effective verbal and written skills in the English language
  4. Has Police record clearance
  5. Has medical clearance

Registered Nurse (RN)

Community, Hospitals and other Healthcare Facilities across Ontario

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible, but not limited to, provide direct nursing care & administer treatments to patients
  2. Collaborate with allied health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and families

Minimum Requirements

  1. Holder of current license for Registered Nurse from the CNO
  2. Recipient of CPR certificate for Health Care Provider (HCP)
  3. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
  4. Has effective verbal and written skills in the English language
  5. Has Canadian criminal record clearance
  6. Has medical clearance
  7. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate holder
  8. Completed Critical Care courses or working towards getting one
  9. Minimum solid year of clinical experience in an area of specialty
  10. No less than 1 year (or equivalent hours) medical/surgical nursing experience
  11. Completed a minimum of 1 year experience in emergency department or critical and intensive care units
  12. Maternal & Postpartum Units (in addition to the above qualifications)
  13. Minimum 1 year (or equivalent hours) of pediatric and/or obstetric nursing experience, Mental Health Unit (in addition to the above qualifications)
  14. No less than 1 year (or equivalent hours) of mental health nursing experience and/or has taken courses related to mental health
